Greatness on the Inside of You

My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20 (NLT)

Something beautiful happens in the life of a believer at the time of salvation. Regeneration takes place. The old self and everything with it, past mistakes and sins, is crucified with Christ. He died for every sin. Since the old life is crucified, the new believer has hope. Christ now lives in them through the power of the Holy Spirit, so they are led and guided by Him. They now have a purpose for their life, to trust in Jesus, who loved and gave Himself up for every believer. What a glorious transformation!

So, if you are a believer, you have the power of Christ living in you! His greatness is inside of you! He promises that the Holy Spirit will help you make decisions every day and lead you through this life.

Dear Lord,

You are the greatness inside of me. Your Holy Spirit lives and breathes in me. Thank you for the greatness you placed in me.
