God's mercies are new every morning. Every day He gives us a clean slate and a fresh start. We have a chance to talk with Him each day and experience those mercies if we choose Him instead of the weariness of the world. Prayer is the most important thing we can do to stay close with the Lord. If we pray before we even start the day, we will start the day off right and will have a focused mind as we go throughout the rest of the day. Prayer always draws us closer to the Lord.

When you wake up in the morning, open your eyes and delight in the presence of the Lord. Bring your requests before Him because He cares for you! Then, as you continue throughout your day, know that He is walking with you.
