Do not copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Romans 12:2(NLT)

The world and its desires can entice both sinners and believers alike. Society tells you what you should think and believe about certain topics. Little by little, believers give in to compromising with the world until churches have become encircled with worldly beliefs. However, Paul tells Christians not to copy the behaviors and customs of this world. We are simply aliens passing through this world- it is not our home. When we let God transform our mind and heart, He will completely change the way we think. When our minds are renewed, we will see the world and the lost completely differently. We will see them through the Lord's eyes instead of our own human eyes.

Only then can we know God's will for our lives. So, spend time today praying and asking God to renew your mind. Read His Word and fill your mind with His scriptures so that you will constantly be reminded of His goodness and His love for you.
